Which is the better AMP. Phase Linear 700B or Carver Mt-1.5 ? - carver mt 1.5
I think both are rated at 375 WPC. into 8 ohms. Please give reasons for their choice. Thank you.

I do not know if this is true for the exact model numbers, but in general we believe that the linear phase, as a workhorse and I think the Carver as part of the more delicate and tender.
If you opt for the sound of the local large commercial certainly choose a linear phase. If you plan for your house, I want to use Carver. Warning: My knowledge of these two brands have a date.
